Image via WikipediaYes, I’m sure that anyone going to any college or university can agree, sometimes the hardest part of going to school is getting there on time. Having to stroll around the parking lot looking for an available parking space for an extra 10 minutes isn’t helping! Today I missed the quiz for the second time in my business management 1010 class thanks to the inability to park anywhere near the building I had class in. Utah Valley State College aka Utah Valley University charges me $80 a year to park in student parking which often ends up being in no-mans-land clear out in the second half of the computer science building lot. I then walk to the business building which takes at least 7 minutes, I estimate it’s about a third of a mile. Parking shouldn’t be the most challenging thing about going to school, it should be those blasted comprehensive finals. Overcharging, overcrowding and overlooking student needs – UVSC is working hard to become a university as fast as possible.
