Angry Jason exclaims: “You aren’t my pace car!”

So today I just feel kinda crusty. I mean i’m trying to have a good day but there is just something about it that sucks. I was sitting here thinking about how much humans annoy me. Seriously they all wonder around with the intent to piss me off! Ok, there are a few that don’t. The ones that actually are my friends like Trevor, Chris, Nate, Nessa, Korban, my family, my in-laws, my wife, etc.

Then there are all the other people. Those that don’t know my name or barely know me. Seriously they take one look at me and instantly feel threatened.

First example:
I’m driving to work one morning a couple months ago. Its 445am and I’m headed south on I-15. I was going probably 75mph or so and I pass up this older Ford Bronco (brown I believe) about a mile before my exit. I merge over in plenty of time and exit. Honestly there was enough time for me to pass him, see him in my rear view mirror, blink to move over, stop blinking and then wait a few seconds and then blink again for the exit.

Apparently this wasn’t allowed. How dare I freaking pass him and then get in front of him. He followed me on the exit ramp loop as fast as he could and caught up with me at the red light. He got in the left lane so he could beat me off the line — which was totally fine with me. Then he cuts in front of me and slams on his breaks. Now we are going 20mph in a 35 mph industrial area at 445am. He continued to drive as slow as possible for about half a mile. My turn was coming up on the right so I didn’t bother trying to pass this fool because I knew it would only make things worse. Then came my turn and I turned and he went straight. It was the last I ever saw of him.

I can’t believe how some people act. Its always the same though. If they can’t be faster, better, smarter, stronger, etc. they instead have to act like a 2 year old. This was uncalled for. I never inhibited his existence, why should he mine?

I attempt to make a conscious effort to remember that i’m not the only person here on this earth, there are quite a few more. Not only that, there are other people who may forget from time to time to be courteous. I just really can’t stand blatant rudeness in public. This guy needs to be smacked with a freakin’ brick and reminded that just because someone passes you on the freeway or gets in line in front of you at the grocery store, you don’t need act like an a-hole. Get over it. And have some dignity.

Random Egging

Yesterday I went to visit Mandy at work and noticed some nasty substance on the side of the car. It completely covered the driver-side rear door and look like it sprayed all over the front door. Somehow she missed seeing it both when she got in the car and then when she got out at work. I found egg shells in the road where her car was parked at her parents. I wondered up and down our block but didn’t find any other evidence of a public egging.

I proceeded to wash Mandy’s car three times to hopefully get off any remaining acid before it ate into the

clearcoat and damaged the paint further. Apparently the egg was thrown so hard the shell actually chipped the paint all over at the point of impact. Not only is there likely clear coat damage, but a nice semi-circle of paint chips.

Today I noticed another area of egg shells on the road about 2 blocks from our house. I knocked on the door and asked the guy if his car had been egged. Two of his cars parked on the street were indeed egged and by the looks of things, it wasn’t just one egg per car.

I have only one message to people who think egging is fun and exciting. Don’t hit cars, don’t hit houses. Choose something that won’t be destroyed or damaged.
